Methodology
Editorial policy
A comparison should make a difficult choice easier. It should not disguise a referral link as research.
What counts as evidence
We start with vendor documentation, current pricing pages and integration documentation. Product claims are attributed. Operator evidence is separated from vendor evidence. When we test software, we state the setup, date and limits of the test. A feature that exists on a pricing page is not the same as a feature we have used.
How pages are updated
Commercial pages show a checked date. Price and plan facts expire from our working database and must be checked again before an update. We update one canonical comparison rather than publish a new annual copy. Material corrections are noted on the page.
What we will not claim
- No “best” tool without naming the store and workload it is best for.
- No benchmark headline from fewer than 100 responses.
- No directional segment below 30 responses and no displayed segment below 20.
- No customer story or internal project detail without publication permission.
- No estimated saving presented as money removed from payroll. Capacity released and cash saved are different.
Research partners
AislePilot may work with implementation firms, including Avelio Studio, to improve taxonomies and test assumptions. A research partner cannot change a ranking, suppress a finding or see respondent-level data unless the respondent has separately agreed to that disclosure.
